About this clinic

We are a 40-bed, state-licensed facility accredited by The Joint Commission. We offer a substance use disorder residential program for stabilization and recovery skill development for adults who have a substance use disorder. We have been providing SUD treatment since 1994. We focus on thorough screening, self-empowerment through education, networking, and fostering an environment that promotes safety and wellness. Our interdisciplinary team approach to problem solving, acquiring resources, and engaging Individuals makes our treatment team dynamic and able to create an environment of healing and sustained healthy lifestyle changes. We use an integrated health care model which allows for accessibility to medical, dental, and mental health services. We pride ourselves in creating and maintaining relationships with external agencies within the community to assist individuals with reunifying with their families, acquiring skills for employment, addressing chronic medical conditions, and developing a sober support network. We understand that our success begins with respecting the autonomy along with the current stage of change of everyone who enters our doors. We, at Tacoma Adult Treatment Center, view our role in the lives of the individuals that we serve like a patch on a quilt with many other patches. We do our part and work with community partners in order to address the needs of the individuals in our care.
