Comment from Christen : If you are a breastfeeding mother, have anxiety or have a child with anxiety do not take them to the Kent dental clinic. I was referred to Health Point with the explanation that their dentists had experience working with those with mental health issues. When I scheduled the appointment I advised that my child had anxiety, that I had to be in the room with her and that I had a breastfeeding infant with me. I was told by the receptionist that would be no problem. Once we got there the staff spent over an hour arguing with me about my needing to be with my daughter, Sabrina (Dental Assistant) advised me to find a sitter or an auntie to watch my exclusively breastfed child as if any sane parent would not find a sitter if they could, Colleen (supervisor), Kosar (supervisor), Sabrina (Dental assistant) and Dr. Tseng did not say anything to my daughter to help make her feel more comfortable or even introduce themselves to her, they did not clean her teeth as I was told would happen in her new patient appointment and when our appointment was finally over I was advised by the supervisor Kosar they would not work with us next time because my daughters anxiety and my breastfeeding made the Dr. Tseng uncomfortable. This was after the supervisor Colleen apologized and advised me they would work with me. When I asked to speak with her again since I was again being given contradictory information Colleen was all of a sudden at lunch and would not be back. Instead of taking ownership of the misinformation, how they treat people or the fact that they do not have basic mental health training like I was told, the supervisors pretty much blamed their receptionists the whole time for advising me that my daughter's anxiety and my breastfeeding would not be a problem with their dental professionals. If I could rate this place lower I would.
